Maxime Chudeau is a filmmaker based in New York. His independent short films have screened internationally at prestigious film and contemporary art festivals including AFI Fest, Ars Electronica, ZINEBI and Chilemonos, among others. Heavily influenced by DIY ethos, he uses unpolished animation to craft stories exploring power dynamics. Alongside his animations, Maxime teaches, and currently collaborates on theater works, experimental music and a live-action movie.
